Leon is a practicing chartered mechanical engineer of 40 years’ experience in the design and specification of mechanical and plumbing services for commercial, industrial, academic, retail and domestic sector projects. Leon possess extensive practical and academic knowledge to enable him to analytically determine root cause and find workable solutions on technical issues. He is able to interpret and present facts and opinions in a concise way. He has been appointed Lead Expert on cases involving flood damage insurance claims and air conditioning processes for a food processing plant. Leon has also provided Expert Reports and Scott Schedules on alleged mechanical installation defects, including analysis of quantum of claims. Leon routinely attends CPD sessions for expert witnesses in the civil litigation sector. Previous roles include being appointed as Mechanical Associate to an engineering firm with a portfolio of £20m, Senior Project Engineer to lead a team on several secured projects, appointed as resident engineer project manager to assist, set up and run an overseas office in Brunei and numerous project engineering appointments within the construction sector.
