Overview
Stephen Tennant is a highly experienced construction professional and expert testifier with over 40 years of international experience across large-scale infrastructure, civil engineering and iconic building developments in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Europe and regularly acts as a quantum and delay expert witness in arbitration, litigation and mediation proceedings.
Stephen has been appointed by governments, project owners, contractors, developers and financial institutions to provide expert reports and testimony on quantum, delay, contract administration, negligence, insurance matters and personal earnings impairment. His experience spans major infrastructure works including tunnels, mass transit systems, highways, ports, power stations, district cooling plants and high-rise residential and commercial developments.
In addition to expert witness work, Stephen serves as an accredited mediator and dispute avoidance adviser, with deep expertise in FIDIC, NEC and government forms of contract, including PPP and BOT concessions. He is recognised for combining commercial acumen, strategic insight and technical expertise to resolve complex, high-value construction disputes across multi-jurisdictional environments.
