A Gold Medalist in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee (India), his experience spans the oil & gas, power and energy, buildings, infrastructure, transportation and industrial sectors. Under his leadership, Masin has grown into a globally recognized consultancy with over 250 experts across nine countries, ranked among the Top 10 globally in construction arbitration and Top 27 across all industries by the Global Arbitration Review (GAR) Expert Witness Power Index. Rohit has appeared as an expert witness in over 70 international arbitrations before the ICC, SIAC, LCIA, HKIAC, DIAC, QICCA and national courts. His work spans delay forensic analysis, quantum and damages assessments, valuations and complex technical matters – including shareholder and investment treaty disputes – with cross-examination by leading King’s Counsel in disputes valued up to USD 5 billion. Before founding Masin, he served as CEO of a major USD 1 billion multinational EPC contractor and earlier worked with Shell and Engineers India Limited, giving him a rare combination of experience as designer, contractor, employer representative and senior executive.
