Jim N R Dale is an experienced meteorology expert with over 40 years of experience in weather forecasting, analysis and forensic meteorological investigations. He began his career in the Royal Navy and later established his own consultancy, providing global weather analysis and expert services.
Jim has produced over 950 expert reports and has provided evidence in court and arbitration proceedings involving weather-related disputes. His expertise includes site-specific weather reconstruction, storm impact analysis and hazard assessment, supporting insurance, legal and commercial matters. He is also a recognised media meteorologist, regularly providing expert commentary and analysis across major broadcast platforms.
