Matthew Mullins is a highly experienced mining and mineral resources expert with over 45 years of experience across the global mining industry. He has held senior leadership positions with major mining organisations including BHP and ArcelorMittal, and has extensive experience in mineral resource development, exploration, mine planning, resource and reserve reporting, project reviews and mining strategy. Matthew has worked across a wide range of commodities and geological terrains globally and has undertaken numerous Competent Person and Qualified Person assignments, resource and reserve audits, feasibility studies, technical due diligence and acquisition reviews. He has also played a significant role in developing and strengthening mineral resource reporting and governance standards, having chaired the SAMREC, SAMVAL and SAMCODES committees. His experience includes major mining projects and disputes involving iron ore, coal, copper, nickel, gold, platinum, diamonds, manganese and other mineral resources.
