Philip Wilson is a highly experienced Consultant Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Specialist with extensive expertise in onshore and offshore geotechnical engineering. A Chartered Civil and Geotechnical Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), he has contributed to national and international geotechnical standards and served as an expert witness in geotechnical disputes. With a career spanning major infrastructure, highways, railways, petrochemical facilities, and waste management projects, Philip has held senior roles in both consultancy and government sectors. He has advised on geotechnical aspects of HS2, Network Rail, offshore wind farms, and landfill engineering, among others. Philip also provides expert geotechnical consultancy through WILGEO Ltd and has played a key role in technical committees shaping industry standards. Based in the UK, he consults internationally across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
