William Hastings is a seasoned Marine Engineer with more than four decades of experience spanning seagoing chief engineer roles, technical superintendent positions, fleet management, offshore support vessel operations, and flag-state regulatory work. His career includes senior roles in Singapore overseeing daily technical operations for multiple vessel types, progression to Technical Manager, and co-ownership of a marine services company. He later served as a Deputy Registrar for the Cook Islands Ship Registry, handling regulatory compliance and vessel oversight. From 2018 to 2025, he acted as Technical Manager for Lee Ships London before focusing on specialised technical projects and litigation support.
